How to Navigate and Search
Every page has a menu of the main areas like the menu at
the top of this page. Click on the home button to go to our home page.
Click on your browser's back button to go to the previous page.
On the main ART page, selections of categories and mediums for each category are presented.
Clicking on either a category or a medium will send you to the Search Results page for that category or medium.
The Search Results page lists each piece for the category or medium selected.
You may click on an artist's name to see a page of just his or her work or click on "bio" to read information about the artist.
Also on the main art page there is a pull down menu
of artists, so that you may go directly to the works of a particular
artist. Click the little down arrow button on the list of names, choose
the artist, and then click on "View Titles for Artist."
To see a larger image of any art work, click on the image.
This will bring up a larger image in a new browser window.
To Search for a particular type of art, say by an artist name,
subject, medium, price etc., click on the search button at the top of any page and follow the directions
How to Purchase Artwork
When you see an object you like, click on the "Add To Cart"
button to the right of the image. A confirmation window will appear in a new window.
Select either Cancel or Confirm; Confirm will add the artwork to the shopping cart.
You can add a number of items to the cart, and you will
have the opportunity to review your choices before final purchase.
When you have finished shopping, click
on the "Check Out" button at the top
of the page. This will display all your choices and give you the opportunity
to change them. You may go back and forth to the shopping cart and art
pages as you please. When you are ready to finalize your order, click
on the Check Out button at the bottom of the page. This will bring you
to a secure server where you will enter your payment and shipping details.
We accept all major credit cards
as well as checks on line. Credit cards are not charged until items
are shipped.
All credit card and check details are submitted through a secure server.
The 128 bit encryption used is, for all practical purposes, impossible to decipher.
Credit Card transactions with an established merchant, such as Firedworks Gallery,
are among the safest form of credit card use.
Receipts will be emailed to you and mailed with the items shipped only.
For your protection these receipts include the last 4 or 5 digits of the card.
Artist Profiles
In the about art page
is a menu of Artist Profiles. You can easily switch back and forth
between an artist profile and the page of his or her work.
The about art page
also has informative tips such as framing information, essays, and other
items of interest.
Features
This is a database driven site, which means that most
of the pages are dynamically from our database. This eliminates pricing errors, creates better security,
helps in inventory, and allows the site to be more easily updated.
