Known for his Impressionistic style, Robert
Daughters creates paintings and serigraphs of uncommon beauty and energy
chronicling the craggy, vibrant landscape of Northern New Mexico, Arizona and
Mexico in colors that arrest and
inspire.
Robert Daughters divides his time between two residence-studios, one located on
the Sea of Cortez in Mexico and the other in the Catalina Foothills in Tucson,
Arizona. He works on site and from sketches, studies and
photographs.
Born in 1929, Daughters was raised in St. Joseph Missouri. He attended the Kansa
City Art Institute and School of Design where he majored in painting and
sculpture.
